2003: Canada (Boy, we really did have fun this year - 3 new Canadian Champions, two from the Junior Puppy classes; 4 Best Puppy in Group wins - three with our singleton Malamute and one with our singleton Samoyed; and a Working Group 4th with our Junior Puppy Malamute at his 3rd ever show!!).

Friends of the Canadian Guide Dogs May 3rd & 4th	Sisu made his Canadian debut at this show at just 6 months of age. He won Winners Male on Saturday and did even better on Sunday winning Best of Winners . He also won Best Puppy on both days and on Sunday was pulled out in the last 4 for Best Puppy in Group! Nice start, Sisu!
Arnprior Canine Association May 9th, 10th & 11th	Wow, what a weekend! Sisu won Best of Breed every day and only needs 2 more points to finish his Canadian Championship! But even better, on Friday (his third ever show) he won Best Puppy in Group and a Group 4th under Allan Brown. Woo-hoo! Thank you very much, Mr. Brown, for thinking so highly of our Sisu. Siru, at 9 1/2 years of age, won Best Opposite every day earning herself 3 sets of points.
Hochelaga Kennel Club May 17th, 18th & 19th	Another great weekend for Sisu - on Saturday (his 6th show) he finished gathering the necessary points, by winning Winners Male and Best Puppy, to be come a Canadian Champion at just 6 1/2 months of age ,under Ann Rogers Clark. He was also pulled out in third spot in the puppy group. On Monday, first time out as a special, he won Best of Breed.
The Ottawa Kennel Club May 23rd, 24th & 25th	And so it goes on --- Best of Breed for Sisu all three days and, on Saturday, he won his second Best Puppy in Group award, thank you Skip Stanbridge for this nice win. This was his first set of outdoor shows, too.
St Francis Kennel & Obedience Club June 13th & 14th	Sisu won Best of Breed and Best Puppy on Friday and Best Puppy again on Saturday (no, he wasn't the only puppy). Siru won the points on Friday as Winner's Female and went reserve on Saturday, she now needs only 2 more to finish her Canadian championship.
Kingston & District Kennel Club June 21st & 22nd	Sisu (our only entry) won Best of Breed/Best Puppy on Saturday and Best Puppy on Sunday, with compliments from both judges on his quality.
Association Canine de la Mauricie Inc. June 27th & 28th	Sisu won Best Puppy both days beating all the class dogs present (adults and puppies) and was only beaten for BOB each day by the one other (adult, mature) special present.
Chateauguay Valley Kennel Club July 4th - 7th	Sisu won Best of Breed and Best Puppy every day. On Friday he won his 3rd Best Puppy in Group win, under Peter Machen, thank you very much for thinking so highly of him. On Saturday he was pulled out in the cut for the Group - thank you Denise Cornelssen.
Kars Community Recreation Association July 19th & 20th	Sisu won Best Puppy both days. Siru won Reserve Winners Female on Saturday and went one better, winning Winner's Female, on Sunday to complete her Canadian Championship! Yeah, Siru!
Thousand Islands Kennel and Obedience Club August 16th	Sisu won Best of Breed and Best Puppy.
Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Dog Association August 23rd & 24th	Sisu won Best of Breed/Best Puppy on Saturday and Best Puppy again on Sunday.
Cornwall District Kennel Club August 29th to September 1st	Sisu won Best of Breed/Best Puppy on Friday and Monday, and was awarded Best Puppy on Saturday and Sunday.
Club Canin Chomedey Inc. October 31st to November 2nd	Sisu competed on his last day as a puppy and won Best of Breed and Best Puppy again. Next day he won Best Opposite Sex to Star who won Best of Breed (only day she competed), and then , on Sunday, he won Best of Breed once again, always with competition. Solo made his Canadian debut and won Winners Dog every day.
Ottawa Kennel Club November 14th to 16th	Sisu won Best of Breed every day in Ottawa. Solo won Winners Dog and Best of Winners every day &, on Sunday, was also awarded a Canadian Best Puppy in Group win under American judge Patricia Laurans.
United Kennel Club November 28th to 30th	Solo won Best of Winners and Best of Breed over a special on Friday and was placed in 2nd in the Puppy group by US judge Constance Barton, on Saturday he won Best of Winners to finish and become a Canadian Champion and on Sunday he won Best of Breed again was in the final cut of 4 for best puppy in group by Bill Shelton (US).
AMCC National Specialty November 28th & 29th	Sisu won Best Puppy in Sweepstakes under long-time breeder/owner Richard Harrison from NY state.

2003: USA (After last year's problems, we made up for it this year by making several trips South. We had such a good time in the US - we made some wonderful new friends, reacquainted ourselves with some old friends, and showed that our dogs can compete up there with the "big guys". Our Sammy really showed us who was the "high-flyer" with a Working Group Puppy 1st! Thanks to all who made us feel so welcome & who were so kind to us and complimentary about our dogs.)

Champlain Valley Kennel Club July 12th	Sisu won Best of Breed and Best Puppy for his first American point.
Green Mountain Dog Club July 13th	Wayne beat Sisu for Best of Breed and Best Bred By Exhibitor in Breed and then went on to win a Group 4th in their Bred By Exhibitor Extravaganza! Way to go, Wayne!
Palisades Kennel Club October 11th	Solo was out strutting his stuff going Best of Winners for his first US points.
AMCA New York/New Jersey Area Specialty October 11th	Sisu won Best Senior Puppy in Sweeps and Star won Winners Bitch for a 4 point Major - woohoo!!
AMCA (Empire Alaskan Malamute Club) Specialty October 12th	Sisu won his class at the specialty and was second in his class in the Sweeps.
Ramapo Kennel Club October 12th & 13th	Solo continued with his winning ways winning Best of Opposite Sex, beating two male specials, as well as Best of Winners, on Sunday and winning Puppy Group 1st (Best Puppy in Group) under Mr. W. Everett Dean Jr. He won Best of Winners again on Monday. Sisu won his class and Reserve Winners Dog on Monday while Star won 2nd place in her class.
AMCA National Specialty October 17th to 20th	Sisu did well at the National Specialty winning his Futurity class and Best Senior Puppy in Sweeps. He placed 3rd in the regular class.
AMCA North East Regional Specialty October 21st & 22nd	At the Regional Specialty, Sisu won his class, as did Astra. Astra also won Best 12+ years Veteran in Sweeps and was the oldest dog competing at both the National and Regional Specialties.
Medina Kennel Club December 12th	Skye made her debut in the show ring and placed second in her class in both the Sweepstakes and the regular class against some stiff competition - nice start, Skye. Star placed 4th in a hotly contested Bred By class, while Sisu placed second both in the sweeps and in the regular class.
Western Reserve Kennel Club/AMCA Great Lakes Regional Specialty December 14th	Skye did us real proud by winning Grand Sweeps under breeder Joe Hug at just 6 1/2 months of age at the Specialty. She also got a good second place in the regular classes. Sisu also won his Sweeps class beating some good dogs and placed second in the regular classes. Star worked well and placed 4th in a decent open class.
