Wayne was the boy we kept from our 2000 litter because he was quite a little monster as a puppy! Turned out that he was destined to be a nice looking boy as he grew up. His movement
was one of his best assets.
In his all
too brief stint in the show ring, Wayne proved to be
quite the winner! He became a Canadian champion at just over 12 months of age, gained a few points in the US and he qualified for the AMCC Top 25 event in 2001. The best was yet to come
- to our great delight he won Best Graduate in Sweeps at the 2001 NY/NJ Regional Specialty under breeder-judge Paul Levesque and THEN he won 1st place in a very
competitive, 12-18 month dog class at the 2001 AMCA National Specialty in Minnesota (beating dogs that are now American champions) under specialist breeder-judge
Wendy Willhauk.
Sadly Wayne was euthanized after suffering a severe nervous breakdown at four years of age. He is missed by us all.
