Micah joined us from Robin & Jim at Poker Flat kennels shortly after we arrived in Canada in late 1999. He arrived together with Doris and had that wonderful
Poker Flat movement, sound construction, and an incredible willingness to please. He was a real sweetie to all the people he met and a great ambassador for the breed. He sired our first
Canadian litter producing some fine dogs, including Wayne & Star. There are already 3 Canadian champions from this litter of 5, so he did a
great job of passing on his good looks and sound movement. We were honoured to have had him with us for the all-too-short time he was here and it was a real joy to share that time with him.
Micah arrived with us as an American Champion and Companion Dog (CD). Although already a veteran, he quickly finished his Canadian championship in a couple of weekends in the spring of
2000 and qualified easily for the 2001 AMCC Top 25 event. He was also awarded a Group 2nd at a CKC Veteran's show.
